Just as a note, if Ea-nasir cons Tinkerer when it comes to, like, a part that he ends up using for an invention that causes a problem, he's probably going to cease to trust her in that particular regard and will no longer deal with her for invention parts once he figures out what went wrong. At least if it happens more than once. And if he finds out she's degraded his stuff he'll be displeased, of course! (This is not me saying no.)
